• Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Colorado.
• BLS and ACLS certification required.
  • Job Details
  • Operating Room (OR) Nurse
  • Hours: Monday through Friday with weekend on-call requirements.
  • Provide direct patient care in the Operating Room, ensuring a safe and supportive environment.
  • Explain procedures and treatments to patients and their family members to alleviate concerns and ensure understanding.
  • Ensure necessary supplies and equipment are readily available for each surgical procedure; accurately mark and address any needed charge adjustments with the Buyer.
  • Administer prescribed medications in accordance with approved nursing techniques and protocols.
  • Maintain continuous focus on the surgical procedure in the assigned operating room.
  • Assist with room turnover, including cleaning and returning supplies, instruments, and equipment as needed.
  • Demonstrate clinical expertise and contribute to advancing perioperative nursing practices by staying informed of current research and trends in the specialty.
    • Job Requirements
    • Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Colorado.
    • Bachelors Degree in Nursing (or equivalent) from an accredited program.
    • Minimum of ten (10) years of experience and training in nursing.
    • BLS and ACLS certification required.
    • Five (5) or more years of experience as an Operating Room Nurse.
