  • Job Details
  • The Walk In Clinic Registered Nurse provides professional nursing care in accordance with known/accepted standards of practice and AVH policies.
  • The nurse provides clinical care in collaboration with other clinic staff and assists with administrative duties, as needed, under the direction of the Nurse Supervisor, Charge Nurse and Providers.
    • Job Requirements
    • Associate degree in Nursing (ADN)
    • Unrestricted license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Colorado, or ability to obtain prior to start date
    • 2 years of experience as an RN in an emergency department or urgent care.
      • Schedule Information
      • While we can't guarantee hours on our contracts, your traveler will be scheduled for around 36-40 hours per week.
      • We do not downstaff, so they are essentially guaranteed hours.
        • Additional Details
        • Travelers are responsible for securing their own housing.
        • Housing is extremely expensive, especially in the winter. Please consider housing options in the surrounding towns: Basalt, Carbondale, & Glenwood Springs.
        • $3,500/month is common for a 1BR apartment in Basalt.
        • Travelers looking for a housing budget less than this should probably not be submitted.
        • Not accepting any RTO.
        • Must be healthy enough to safely function in a low oxygen environment (8k elevation).
